They're all dead - good reddens. Where I come from it would be better to be dead than red. Everybody has political leprosy.
There's a brisk YouTube trade in Ice Station Zebra music -- I uploaded Under the Ice (Exit Music). This posting gathers up a collection of pieces some quietly ominous -- one sampling fugato music procedures but most pointing up the visual on screen drama. One track (Anders Shot) is brief, three minutes but richly atmospheric with attractively rising and falling wisps of thematic music amid a plethora of characteristic Legrand orchestral effects -- Throughout the familiar main theme puts in occasional appearances in different guises. It's a striking theme rising confidently in the final piece. It takes its place among a fair scattering of similar themes -- Less militaristic than Arthur Bliss March from Things to come (1935) less driven than a similar adventure type theme Dimitri Tiomkin's Guns of Navarone (1961) but then the adventure theme in cinema right up to Star Wars and beyond is so celebrated it almost rivals the premier position accorded cinema's great romantic themes.
