The KD1MU DM-4R is a versatile dual band dual mode DMR radio that offers a range of advanced features. With a spectrum analyzer, NOAA weather broadcast, and 1024 memory channels, FM, AM, DMR, and SSB, this radio is perfect for radio enthusiasts. Why can you trust this radio? There are thousands of DM-4R radios in service under multiple brands. The radio uses 6 watt HTL7G06S006P LDMOS finals to deliver up to 6 watts on 70cm and 5 watts on 2m. The radio has excellent sensitivity and adjacent channel rejection characterstics. It produces a clean signal that rivals higher end products. Its promiscuous receive mode makes it easy to identify talk groups and color codes for DMR hotspots and repeaters. Per channel Radio IDs allow the use of hotspot specific identifiers. This radio is FCC Certified under the iradio label and full tests and specs are available from the FCC database. Discerning radio Amateurs with RF technical expertise love this radio. Note: The DM-4R is designed for common Amateur Radio use cases and will not replace a Motorola TRBO radio when patented sophisticated trunking functions are required.
